Veterans

Thank you to all our veterans who volunteered to put your lives on the line to defend our country, our freedom and our very lives. We are indebted to you.

We don’t have a Veterans’ “Club” here, but we honor our Veterans, and we want to help where we can.

Veterans’ Monument

The Monument is in front of the clubhouse, and it lists the names of past and present Highland Palms residents who have served our country.

If you served honorably in the Armed Forces, you can have your name engraved in the monument. We hire an engraver to do the work, and each veteran pays for the engraver’s work. The engraver charges $35 for his work. This rate is subject to change.

Helping Our Veterans

Many veterans need help. Some have been injured while serving our country, and many are suffering with PTSD. There are several ways our residents help:

1. Make a donation.
US Vets is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your donation is tax-deductible.

2. Hire a newly trained veteran.

Their work ethic was instilled in them when they volunteered to serve our country.

3. Donate needed items.
Some of the items needed are food, clothing, hygiene items, etc.

4. Volunteer

Your time and talents can always be put to use.
